we are the children of the sun

I went to Romuva camp for a few days again this year (it's my 7th year in a row of going there). It always feels so nice to be back there again, so many memories, the best memories..

Beauxoxo Autumn 2014

Recently I shot with Beauxoxo again and it was so lovely working with these amazing ladies! Here are the results of the shoot.

Model is the cute fashion blogger Paige Joanna, go see her blog here.
She also uploaded a behind the scenes video of the shooting on her youtube channel.

The inside shots were done in the cutest pastel pink Peggy Porschen. We ate some cupcakes there and have to say it was absolutely amazing!

If You Can't Love This All Goes Away

So for the summer I went back to Lithuania and spent some awesome time there with my friends, going to some festivals and just relaxing after finishing my studies.
First up are the pictures from a small local festival in Lithuania called "Blusų festivalis". I don't think I've ever been to such a small festival, but it was really nice to see how it can work. There were a lot of local people with families and children, during the day a fair and an antiquities market was happening with some live, not too overwhelming music. In the evening, after a lot of families left, a bigger concert started, which was a lot of fun and we ended up staying until dawn by a bonfire with the musicians. I really liked the feeling there, all the people where really chilled out, you could get vegetarian food and do some crafts or just lie around in the sun sipping beer or cider.

what difference does it make

Another test I did in summer back in Lithuania, I shot with two girls at once, you can see the first part here.
This was the first shoot ever for Vytaute!

I know these type of blog posts are probably more boring to you, but do let me know if any of the images are more memorable for you, I always appreciate the feedback and still find it hard to choose images, so that always helps.

I don't quite remember how I discovered Ellie, but as soon as I saw her unique style that fits her perfectly, similar things we both like and of course her cute freckled looks (it's no surprise for anyone that I love redheads! ;D) I knew I have to shoot with her at some point. And an opportunity came really soon, when Miss Robin announced their Postcards theme and it all just fell into place. I wanted to shoot something in some natural history museum for aaages, but always felt that my ideas for it were not quite there yet, so when Ellie, tourist/postcard/vintage theme came together it all seemed quite perfect. Museum works really well for a tourist inspired story, but I didn't want to leave it at just that, as I remembered how I felt when I came there first - it was so beautiful and breathtaking, closest to Hogwarts than anything I've seen, so I decided to include a magical aspect too and show that even girls that do seemingly regular things (like going candy shopping, to the bookstore or visiting a museum) might feel like they're actually navigating a world of enchantment and hide secret magic in them that breaks through.

Another blog post coming soon with lots of film+instax images from this shoot as the story now is not fully complete.

Doesn't she totally look like redhead Elle Fanning in the one below?
